Valuation, Documentation & Buyer Referral Service

The Provenance Space supports sellers at the preparation stage by coordinating valuations, organizing documentation, and, where appropriate, introducing private buyers. This service is designed to help sellers understand value, prepare items properly, and make informed decisions before sale.

Sellers remain fully in control of pricing, transactions, and final decisions.

What This Service Provides

This service combines three key elements:

  • Coordination of third-party valuations

  • Organization of documentation for pre-sale planning

  • introduction to private buyers where suitable ( Optional)

We do not act as auction houses, brokers, or agents, and we do not guarantee sales.

How the Process Works

Step 1 — Seller Intake, Valuation Coordination & Documentation
Begin by completing the seller intake form. We review the item details, images, and background information, coordinate third-party valuation services, and organize documentation to determine the appropriate next steps.

Step 2 — Valuation Review & Pre-Sale Context
Valuations are coordinated through third-party platforms. The results are reviewed and placed into market context to support pre-sale planning and informed decision-making.

Step 3 — Buyer Introduction 
Where appropriate, your item may be introduced to private buyers or collectors. Buyer introductions are optional, subject to suitability, and no sale is guaranteed.

Step 4 — Success-Based Referral Fee (15%)
If a transaction is completed with a buyer introduced by The Provenance Space, a 15% success-based referral fee applies.

Service Fees & Payment

Flat Service Fee: $15, $19 or $25 ( Depending on the Value Statues of your item)

This fee covers:

  • Review of your seller intake submission

  • Coordination of third-party valuation services 

  • Documentation organization and preparation support

  • Pre-sale guidance and next-step recommendations

  • Optional consideration for private buyer introduction

This fee is non-refundable and required to begin the process.

Success-Based Referral Fee: 15%

A 15% referral fee applies only if a sale is completed with a buyer introduced by The Provenance Space.

There is no upfront payment for buyer introductions, and no fee is due if no transaction occurs.

The Provenance Space does not act as a broker or agent, does not negotiate pricing, and does not handle payments. Sellers and buyers transact independently. No sale is guaranteed.
