Welcome to The Provenance Space (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using TheProvenanceSpace.com, purchasing our digital products, or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1) Services and products

TPS provides digital products and services, including:

  1. Identification, Valuation & Market Context Report (the “Report Service”)

    • A digital, pre-sale guidance report based on the information and images you submit plus market research.

  2. Pre-Sale Documentation Template Kit (the “Template Kit”)

    • A digital download containing documentation templates intended to help sellers organize item details before selling.

No physical goods are shipped.

2) Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction to purchase from TPS. If you are using the site on behalf of a business, you represent you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

3) Intake-first workflow and acceptance of work

For the Report Service, TPS operates an intake-first process:

  1. You submit details and photos via the intake form.

  2. We review for completeness.

  3. If we can proceed, we email an invoice.

  4. Work begins after payment (unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing).

If your intake is missing key information (e.g., measurements or clear marks photos), we may request additional details before invoicing or before starting work.

4) What the Report Service is (and is not)

A) What it is

The Report Service may include:

  • supported identification hypotheses (based on available evidence),

  • a valuation range estimate with reasoning,

  • market context and suggested selling routes,

  • sale-readiness guidance (what to improve before listing/consigning).

B) What it is not

  • Not an official appraisal, insurance appraisal, tax appraisal, or court-ready valuation unless explicitly stated by a qualified appraiser under a separate agreement.

  • Not a guarantee of authenticity, origin, maker, date, or final selling price.

  • Not professional legal, financial, or investment advice.

Markets change. Values depend heavily on condition, provenance, buyer demand, venue, timing, and the accuracy/completeness of the information you provide.

5) AI-assisted processing

TPS may use AI-assisted tools to help:

  • extract relevant details from your intake text (e.g., dimensions, keywords),

  • analyze images for visible features (e.g., object type, legible label text),

  • draft structured research notes to support report creation.

Final outputs may be reviewed and edited before delivery, but you acknowledge AI-assisted processing may be part of the workflow.

6) Pricing, invoices, and payment

  • Prices for products/services are shown on the website (e.g., $19 for the Report Service and $9 for the Template Kit) unless otherwise stated.

  • Invoices are payable via the payment method shown on the invoice/checkout (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, etc.).

  • TPS may update pricing at any time; changes do not affect invoices already issued.

If payment is not received within a reasonable period, we may close the request and require a new intake submission.

7) Delivery and turnaround

  • Delivery is digital (email PDF and/or a link).

  • Any stated turnaround times (e.g., “24–48 hours”) are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on research complexity and the quality of submitted photos/details.

TPS is not responsible for delays caused by missing intake information, customer response time, third-party platform downtime, or email delivery issues outside our control.

8) Revisions and updates

For the Report Service:

  • Minor clarifications may be provided at our discretion.

  • If you provide new evidence (better photos, measurements, documentation, clearer marks), TPS may update findings or provide an addendum.

  • Extensive rework may require an additional fee (we will confirm before proceeding).

9) Digital downloads

For the Template Kit:

  • Delivery is via digital download or link after payment.

  • You are responsible for ensuring your device/software can open the file format provided.

10) Refund policy (recommended structure)

A) Report Service

Refund eligibility depends on the stage of fulfillment, for example:

  • Before work begins: may be refundable.

  • After research/drafting begins: generally non-refundable.

  • After delivery: generally non-refundable.

B) Template Kit (digital download)

Digital downloads are generally non-refundable once delivered/accessed, except where required by applicable law.

11) User content (photos, files, item details)

When you submit content to TPS (photos, text, documents), you:

  • confirm you have the right to share it, and

  • grant TPS a limited license to use it only to provide services, support your order, maintain records, and improve internal workflows.

We do not claim ownership of your content.

12) Intellectual property

All TPS materials—including website content, templates, report structure, branding, and downloadable files—are owned by TPS or licensed to TPS.

You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or publish TPS materials (including the Template Kit) except for your personal/internal use as permitted at purchase.

13) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the website for unlawful purposes,

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or systems,

  • upload malware or harmful code,

  • submit fraudulent content or content you do not have rights to provide.

TPS may refuse service, cancel access, or block submissions that violate these Terms.

14) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • TPS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

  • TPS’s total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid to TPS for that specific product/service.

You remain responsible for decisions you make based on the report (pricing, venue selection, listing language, shipping, insurance, etc.).

15) Disclaimers

TPS provides services “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that:

  • an item will be definitively identified,

  • any valuation will match a future sale price,

  • third-party marketplace data is complete or error-free,

  • the service will meet every user’s specific legal or compliance needs.

16) Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your country/state], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Any disputes will be handled in the courts of [Your city/state], unless applicable law requires otherwise.
